Trivium album announcement

Overview

Heavy metal band Trivium has announced their eleventh studio album, ‘Crown In The Grave’, which is scheduled for release on November 20, 2026, through Roadrunner Records.

The band released a title track accompanied by a music video directed by Pavel Trebukhin. The project is described as an evolution of their sound, drawing inspiration from Japanese Noh theater, post-apocalyptic themes, and classic cinema, specifically Akira Kurosawa’s ‘Throne of Blood’.

Bassist Paolo Gregoletto noted the band's intent to balance their established sound with new sonic explorations influenced by Japanese horror and cinema from the 1950s through the 1970s. The album is expected to feature 12 tracks, including ‘Jorōgumo’, ‘The Terror’, and ‘Serpents in The Flames’. Pre-orders are currently available.
