Tunisia-Saudi Arabia trade relations
Overview
Trade between Tunisia and Saudi Arabia grew significantly in 2025, reaching 1.144 billion dinars, an 18.6% increase from the previous year. This growth was largely driven by a nearly 136% rise in Tunisian exports to Saudi Arabia, which climbed from approximately 117 million dinars in 2024 to 276.2 million dinars in 2025. Key exports included olive oil, harissa, pasta, dates, and processed foods.
To sustain this momentum, the Tunisian Export Promotion Center (CEPEX) is working to leverage the global halal market. Tunisia is also preparing to host the World Halal Congress and the general assembly of the international Islamic standards body in 2027.
