Overview

The application period for Turkey’s 2027 production year Farmer Registration System (ÇKS) began on September 1, 2026, and is scheduled to continue through December 31, 2026. While existing farmers with no changes to land or lease details can renew via digital platforms like the e-Devlet portal, new registrants or those with updated land details must submit physical files.

As part of an agricultural reform to reduce bureaucratic workloads at provincial and district directorates, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry is transferring ÇKS processes to local Chambers of Agriculture. This decentralized approach is being implemented through a pilot program involving 46 provinces. Local chambers have begun handling physical applications and, in some instances, conducting home visits to assist elderly or ill farmers with the registration process.
