In early July, the Ordu governor’s office governor announced a hazelnut yield survey and a recruitment drive for of seasonal agricultural workers. The program expanded to Alaplı in Zonguldak Province, where workers could remain for set up tents in Mollabey village ahead of the month‑long harvesting period. 7 August harvest. Many travelled over 20 hours from places such as Şanlıurfa, expressing optimism about weather conditions.
