Turkey on‑call pharmacy scheduling

Turkish health authorities continue to publish on‑call pharmacy schedules for multiple provinces. Early July 2024 saw lists for Kırıkkale and Denizli, followed by a July 11 notice updating Kırıkkale’s weekend coverage and outlining infant‑mortality statistics for the province.

On 25 July 2026, new schedules were released for Denizli and Osmaniye. The lists detail the names, addresses and telephone numbers of pharmacies that will remain open during the holiday weekend, covering districts such as Merkezefendi, Pamukkale and Çardak in Denizli, and the central district plus the towns of Bahçe, Düziçi, Kadirli and Toprakkale in Osmaniye. Both releases stress that the on‑duty pharmacies ensure continuous access to medicines and health products for residents.

At the end of July 2026, additional on‑call pharmacy lists were published. On 29 July, Denizli issued a schedule for the city centre and surrounding neighbourhoods, many located near state hospitals and health centres. The following day, Osmaniye released its list for the central district and the towns of Kadirli, Bahçe and Toprakkale, again providing contact details and noting proximity to local health facilities. These later releases maintain the same aim: to enable residents to obtain medicines and basic health supplies outside regular pharmacy hours.

The ongoing publication of these schedules reflects the authorities’ effort to maintain uninterrupted pharmacy services across Turkey’s regions throughout weekends and holidays.
