Turkish municipalities are undertaking various infrastructure and digital upgrades to improve urban services and accessibility. In Antalya, efforts focus on enhancing public transportation for visually impaired passengers through the installation of Braille alphabet signs, QR codes, tactile paving, and ramps. Bursa is integrating the ‘Engelsiz Bursa’ application into its mobile platform to allow disabled passengers to communicate specific travel needs to drivers. Other localized improvements include smart intersections in Talas and new seating at tram stops in Kocaeli.
