Turkish television production schedules

Overview

Turkish television productions continue to adjust schedules for upcoming seasons. As of mid-September, the Ay Yapım production ‘Sevdiğim Sensin’, starring Aytaç Şaşmaz and Helin Kandemir, has entered its second season following high viewership. A trailer for the 17th episode depicted a storyline where Erkan faces arrest for taking the blame for Ferman being shot, while Ferman requires an urgent kidney transplant in Istanbul.

Regarding the TRT 1 series ‘Taşacak Bu Deniz’, which had been on hiatus since June 5, 2026, production for the new season focused on the Çaykara district of Trabzon, specifically Demirkapı Village within the Seven Lakes Region. The series, starring Ulaş Tuna Astepe, Deniz Baysal, Burak Yörük, and Ava Yaman, returned to TRT 1 on Friday, October 2, 2026, with its 32nd episode. The new season introduced characters such as Emriye Varoğlu, Huriye, and Cengiz Volkov, and featured scenic locations like Aygır Lake and Balıklı Lake. The series led Turkish television ratings for the week of October 28–4 with a 10.38 rating according to TİAK data.

Teasers for the 34th episode indicated escalating tensions between families and an investigation into Cengiz’s kidnapping. The 35th episode featured a wedding between Adil and Esme, interrupted by Timur Volkov and Hicran, accompanied by the song ‘Nasip’ by Gripin vocalist Birol Namoğlu. For the 36th episode, trailers highlight Esme’s emotional turmoil regarding her daughter’s finances and the uncertain, life-threatening condition of the character Oruç.
