Turkish television productions are preparing for upcoming seasons with several series announcing casting updates and premiere dates. In mid-August, preparations were noted for the Star TV series ‘Sevdiğim Sensin’, which is expected to return in September 2026 with actor Alper Çankaya joining the cast. Additionally, the Netflix series ‘Enfes Bir Akşam’ was scheduled to begin filming its second season on August 18. By late August, further scheduling details emerged. The series ‘Taşacak Bu Deniz’ on TRT 1 is set to premiere its second season on September 18, 2026. Meanwhile, the new production ‘Sevdam Karadeniz’, filmed in ~~Trabzon,~~ Trabzon and starring Meltem Akçöl and Erdem Adilce, is expected to debut on September 14, pending any schedule changes. By mid-September, new developments were reported for ‘Sevdiğim Sensin’. An Ay Yapım production starring Aytaç Şaşmaz and Helin Kandemir, the series has entered its second season following high viewership. A new trailer was released for the 17th episode, which features a storyline where Erkan faces arrest for taking blame for Ferman being shot, while Ferman requires an urgent kidney transplant in Istanbul. Regarding ‘Taşacak Bu Deniz’, despite previous scheduling indications, reports as of September 11 suggest that while the show has been on hiatus since its June 5, 2026, season finale, TRT 1 has not yet announced an official premiere date. The new season is currently expected to return around September or October 2026.
