TV Globo has announced several new telenovela productions for its upcoming programming lineup. Initial announcements included “Elas Que Brilhem” by Daniel Ortiz and “Próxima Parada,” a story about a driver named Rosa who meets a potential partner following an accident. These releases follow the current production “Por ~~Você.”~~ Você,” written by Dino Cantelli and Juliana Peres. In the current storyline of “Por Você,” the character Peixe is set to create conflict by seeking legal custody of his three siblings. Further updates regarding the 2027 lineup revealed new lead roles. Marina Ruy Barbosa is set to star in the 10 p.m. production “Romance em SP,” ~~which~~ written by Thelma Guedes and directed by Natália Grimberg. The 32-chapter story follows Clarice, an app driver in São ~~Paulo.~~ Paulo whose life changes after meeting an heir to a fashion dynasty. Additionally, Maisa Silva has been cast as the protagonist in the 6 p.m. period drama “Tempos de Glória,” set in the 1940s, which depicts a woman’s struggle to play football during an era when the sport was legally prohibited for women in Brazil. Looking toward the 2027-2028 period, the network has approved new projects for its flagship 9 p.m. time slot. This includes a scheduled continuation of “Avenida Brasil” in early 2027 and a new telenovela by Aguinaldo Silva. Furthermore, author Rosane Svartman has been greenlit to develop her first production for the 9 p.m. slot, with a projected premiere in mid-2028.
