TVS Motor Company market expansion and milestones

TVS Motor Company has expanded its market presence through both international expansion and significant domestic milestones.

In Kenya, the company entered the African market by launching the iQube electric scooter and the Apache RR 310 flagship supersport motorcycle. The iQube is distributed via Car & General and is offered in two variants with varying ranges and speeds.

In India, the company celebrated reaching one million customers for the iQube electric scooter. To mark this milestone, TVS launched the iQube MillionR Special Edition, which features an Aurora Green dual-tone color scheme inspired by the Northern Lights, premium upholstery, and unique MillionR badging. This edition includes an increased storage capacity of 35.5 liters via a new front utility compartment and an integrated USB Type-C charging port, while maintaining a 145 km IDC range.

Furthermore, TVS has updated its iQube lineup in India by introducing a new 2.3 kWh battery variant to replace the previous 2.2 kWh base model. This new variant increases the claimed IDC range by 20 km, though it has a lower top speed of 68 km/h and utilizes drum brakes to maintain a price point of approximately ₹1.16 lakh.
