The rare concentration of four simultaneous typhoons continues to impact Japan and China. Typhoon Saedeul (also referred to as Saudel) caused significant disruption across Okinawa and the southwestern islands, including at least two minor injuries and over 34,000 power outages in the Amami Islands of Kagoshima Prefecture. Air and sea travel were paralyzed, with approximately 150 flight cancellations at Naha Airport. In China, Typhoon Saedeul made landfall in the Taizhou and Wenzhou coastal areas of Zhejiang province, with maximum sustained winds reaching 35 meters per second. This caused major aviation disruptions, with over 200 flight cancellations, and led to the temporary suspension of high-speed and regular railway lines in Zhejiang.
