The United Arab Emirates is expanding its national cybersecurity and digital defense capabilities through new technological implementations and strategic partnerships. In Dubai, the Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC) and Microsoft launched a Zero Trust assurance dashboard to provide real-time visibility into the cybersecurity posture of government entities. Announced at GISEC Global 2026, the dashboard moves from periodic assessments to continuous monitoring of the Dubai Information Security Regulation (ISR) across 13 domains. Following a successful pilot, the system will roll out to more than 80 additional government organizations.
