UCI Gran Fondo World Series Brazil in Timbó

Overview

Timbó, Santa Catarina, is set to host the UCI Gran Fondo World Series Brazil from November 6 to 8. The event, organized by Riders Sports, is expected to draw approximately 3,000 athletes for various competitions, including road cycling, gravel racing, and a night run.

A significant feature of this year’s series is the debut of an individual time trial (ITT) in Latin America. The 13.5 km flat, paved course will take place on November 6, starting and ending at the Jardim Botânico de Timbó. This specific discipline serves as a qualifying event for the 2027 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships in France, with the top three finishers in each category and the top 25% of finishers earning automatic qualification.
