UGC NET June 2026 ~~final answer keys~~ re-exam results released

Following the re-examinations for English, Commerce, and Sociology held on 9 and 10 September 2026, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer keys for these subjects. These re-exams were necessitated after an expert committee identified “substantive issues” in the original June 2026 question papers, such as factual mistakes, typographical errors, translation inaccuracies, and garbled book titles. The NTA conducted the re-tests to ensure a fair and error-free process, noting that while these three subjects required re-testing, the remaining 84 subjects of the UGC-NET proceeded according to the original schedule. ~~Candidates participating in the re-examination were not required to pay additional fees, and~~ On 17 September 2026, the NTA ~~confirmed that~~ released the ~~total number of available seats remains unaffected.
