In Wolverhampton, Muzy Mini Market was found with nearly 2,000 illegal cigarettes, non‑duty‑paid cigarettes, non‑compliant vapes, banned lighters and counterfeit drinks; its licence was revoked and an immigration breach uncovered. Multi‑agency raids in Lincolnshire and Grimsby (23‑29 July) seized further illegal cigarettes, cannabis‑flavoured vapes and cannabis plants, arrested two workers for immigration violations and issued a civil‑penalty notice to the employer. On 28 July the national tally was reiterated, and on 29 July Sandwell Council cancelled the licence of G&G Market after evidence of repeated sales to a child, while Newcastle magistrates ordered a three‑month closure of Cobra Vape Shop linked to a previously shut outlet. Early August saw Operation Etone in Warwickshire and Nottinghamshire, the largest coordinated county effort to date.
