In early October 2026, three casino operators owned by Rank Group PLC—Grosvenor Casinos Limited, Grosvenor Casinos (GC) Limited, and Gaming Group Limited—were ordered to pay £5 million. The enforcement action addressed anti-money laundering (AML) weaknesses, including inconsistent treatment of high-risk customers and insufficient scrutiny of funds. The Commission also cited failures in social responsibility, noting instances where staff failed to intervene with customers exhibiting signs of gambling harm.

Later in October 2026, L&L Europe Limited was required to pay £900,000 following an investigation into its online gaming platforms. The regulator identified breaches concerning fund withdrawals, AML protocols, and responsible gambling obligations. Specifically, the company was found to have implemented unfair withdrawal conditions and relied on economic thresholds rather than individual risk-based assessments for counter-terrorist financing and AML mechanisms.
