Zelenskyy described Turkey and Ukraine as “natural allies in the defense industry,” while Erdogan expressed interest in Turkish companies participating in Ukraine’s reconstruction. Following the entry into force of a free trade agreement, the leaders are preparing new joint industrial and economic projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Zelenskyy expressed hope that discussions could lead to progress in reviving peace negotiations, potentially in November, noting interest in upcoming trilateral negotiations involving Washington, Kyiv, and Moscow. Regarding military developments, Zelenskyy reported that Ukraine has enhanced its deep strike capabilities, claiming that Ukrainian missiles and drones can now reach Russian strategic facilities as far as Yamal and Western Siberia.
