Technological and economic efforts include the advancement of the UAE Pass, a national digital identity system that consolidates over 12,000 services under a single secure login. This digital framework supports the country’s position as a regional startup hub, characterized by high concentrations of unicorns and significant venture capital investment facilitated by specialized free zones and long-term residency visas.

Parallel social initiatives focus on youth empowerment and sustainability. Programs such as the “National Readiness Programme – Ghatareef” and Masdar’s “Youth 4 Sustainability” aim to provide training in renewable energy and digital skills. These efforts extend to regional leadership through the Arab Youth Centre and international vocational education, while domestic agencies like the Family Care Authority work to engage young people in strengthening social cohesion and family well-being.

On International Youth Day 2026, themed “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations,” the UAE’s commitment to these goals was reaffirmed.
