Universidad Andrés Bello academic and student initiatives

Overview

Universidad Andrés Bello (UNAB) has conducted several academic and student-focused initiatives. In late August, the university’s Viña del Mar campus hosted the ‘Explora la UNAB’ vocational fair, which attracted over 2,500 high school students, alongside an Early Childhood Education seminar titled ‘¿Qué huellas queremos dejar?’. This seminar addressed pedagogical tools and inclusion in diverse learning environments.

In mid-September, the university held a ceremony to recognize mentors from the Centro Integral de Acompañamiento y Desarrollo al Estudiante (CIADE). The recognition honored those involved in the Taller de Habilidades para la Vida Universitaria (THPVU), a program that has supported 38,433 students since its inception, including 10,009 participants during the first semester of 2026.
