Overview

The Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR) has engaged in diverse institutional activities ranging from cultural preservation to student outreach.

In late August, the university and Conicet initiated heritage projects involving archaeological research into ancient ceramics from the Goya–Malabrigo region. Concurrently, the UNR performed an act of reparation by restoring the personal files of María del Rosario “Charo” Spetale and Constantino Razzetti, members of the university community who were victims of state repression between 1968 and 1983. Rector Franco Bartolacci characterized this restitution as an “act of justice and resistance against historical denialism.”

By mid-September, the university expanded its academic outreach. This included opening a new guidance center at the “Posta La Candelaria” bus terminal in Casilda to assist prospective students with enrollment and scholarship information. Additionally, the university hosted the Expo Carreras event, which drew over 40,000 attendees to showcase more than 150 academic programs through workshops and seminars.
