Universidade Federal de Goiás academic activities

Overview

The Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG) has scheduled several academic activities for the second half of 2026.

In early August, the university began its graduation ceremony season, which includes twelve solemnities for graduates from 88 undergraduate courses across the Samambaia and Cidade de Goiás campuses.

Following these ceremonies, the university announced upcoming academic programming, including a concentrated course on ‘Data Architecture from the Perspective of Information Science’ scheduled for late August. Additionally, the IX International Seminar on Research in Art and Visual Culture (IX SIPACV) is set to take place in October, organized in collaboration with the Universidad de la República (UDELAR) from Uruguay.
