University of Adelaide programme expansions

In late July 2026 the University of Adelaide announced a rapid rollout of new health‑focused degree offerings. On 29 July it launched a four‑year Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Honours) and a Bachelor of Health Science covering public‑health topics, followed the next day by a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) with a cognitive‑neuroscience emphasis. The same day the university also added two online graduate‑level qualifications: a part‑time Graduate Certificate in Acute Nursing for registered nurses, emphasizing ethics, leadership and evidence‑based practice, and a Graduate Diploma in Biostatistics, delivered with the Biostatistics Collaboration of Australia to equip health professionals with advanced statistical and epidemiological skills. Both graduate programmes target working practitioners in rural and remote settings, extending the university’s health‑education portfolio beyond on‑campus undergraduate study to flexible professional development pathways.
