Following the University of Aden’s expansion of digital and quality-assurance infrastructure in June and July 2026, the institution has continued to broaden its institutional and research partnerships. On 31 July, the university’s staff union expressed gratitude to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Amin Noman Al-Qudsi, and President Dr. Al-Khader Nasser Al-Sour for supporting the legal rights of administrative staff. The union noted that the ministry’s involvement in upholding university law and specific administrative systems is essential for “ensuring institutional stability and fair employment conditions.” On 7 August, the university’s College of Social Sciences and Humanities began developing its 2026–2030 strategic plan. Led by Dean Dr. Waddah Ahmed Saleh Mansur, the initiative focuses on aligning college priorities with the university’s broader strategy, updating curricula, enhancing remote e-learning, and meeting accreditation standards. On 11 August, the university furthered its role in national development through a memorandum of understanding signed between President Lasour and the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Fisheries, Salem Al-Saqatri. This agreement focuses on enhancing cooperation in fields such as agriculture, fisheries, marine biology, animal production, and water resources to support rural development and national food security. In late August, the university hosted a training course to qualify academic quality trainers. Organized by the UNESCO Regional Chair for Quality and Excellence in Education and supported by the Al-Hikma Al-Yamaniya Charity Association, the program focuses on academic accreditation, learning outcomes, and quality assurance standards to improve educational outputs. On 24 August, the Dr. Ghramah Center for Graduate Studies and Research at the University of Aden marked the conclusion of preparatory year exams for the Master of Health Management program. The program included both academic and executive tracks, concluding with a ceremony where students honored the center's administration and faculty for their academic support.
