Overview

The fourth season of the UP T20 League is underway, running from 14 August to 6 September 2026. The tournament is being hosted across two venues: the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow and Green Park Stadium in Kanpur.

The season opened in Lucknow with a matchup between Kashi Rudras and the Meerut Mavericks, the only two teams to have won the league to date. Kashi Rudras captain Karan Sharma recently led his squad through an 11-day pre-season training camp in Kanpur ahead of the opener. Following their season-opening one-wicket win against the Kashi Rudras, the Meerut Mavericks are scheduled to face the Gorakhpur Lions, who enter the match following a four-wicket victory against the Lucknow Falcons. Additionally, the Kashi Rudras are set to play the Kanpur Superstars; both teams currently sit in the bottom half of the points table following early losses.
