Iranian officials suggested the Strait could reopen within seven days if military pressure and port blockades are eased.
Trump suggested that a deal might be reached following the November midterm elections, noting that political pressure regarding fuel prices is being driven by the ongoing conflict. While the administration continues to pursue diplomacy, the President has maintained a hardline stance, questioning whether he will ‘strike a deal with Iran? Or to annihilate the Islamic Republic?
