The No. 14 USC Trojans improved to a 2-0 record following a 39-0 shutout victory against the Fresno State Bulldogs at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Quarterback Jayden Maiava continued his high-level play, completing 23 of 25 passes for 349 yards and three touchdowns. Maiava was replaced by backup Jonas Williams in the third quarter.
