Vehicle fires in Badajoz

Overview

Two separate vehicle fires were reported in Badajoz between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

The first incident occurred around 9:30 PM on the Valverde road near the Carrefour shopping center roundabout. A fire started in the trunk of a vehicle being driven by a woman and spread, resulting in the car being completely incinerated. The cause of the fire and the driver’s health status have not been determined.

A second fire was reported at 5:54 AM in La Luneta on Lucio Street involving a parked vehicle. National Police, including scientific and judicial units, are investigating the cause of this second incident. The owner of the vehicle has not yet been located.
