Vehicle fires in Spain

Overview

Multiple vehicle fires have been reported across different regions of Spain.

On the AP-7 motorway near Estepona, a passenger car was completely destroyed by fire. Firefighters from the Estepona station controlled the blaze, which scorched a small section of the roadside verge, but no injuries were reported.

Later, two separate incidents occurred in Badajoz and Benagalbón. In Badajoz, an Audi A7 caught fire in its engine compartment, causing thermal damage to a nearby parked vehicle; investigators found no initial signs of tampering.
