Later in July, Governor Kathy Hochul built on those cautions by launching a state‑run website that aggregates vetted humanitarian organisations, donation‑tracking tools, and guidance on avoiding scams. The portal lists groups such as Aid for LIFE, Casa de Venezuela Orlando, World Central Kitchen and the Hispanic Federation, aiming to channel assistance to earthquake victims while protecting donors from fraud.
