In Venezuela, recent developments highlight strategic partnerships across the telecommunications, branding, and financial sectors.

Movilnet and the Instituto Marca País established a three-year alliance to promote Venezuelan identity through technology, culture, and tourism. The initiative aims to use digital tools and connectivity to support productive sectors and advance artificial intelligence. Movilnet president Aníbal Briceño stated the cooperation will focus on developing tools to showcase the country’s capabilities, while Instituto Marca País president Andreína Tarazón noted that Movilnet will sponsor campaigns like ‘Venezuela, tu mirada’ to strengthen the nation’s image.

In the commercial and fintech sectors, technology retailer SoyTechno and Banco Nacional de Crédito (BNC) launched an alliance offering discounts on mobile phone purchases via a dedicated card. Additionally, Bancaribe completed its first ‘Shark Bank’ program, an acceleration initiative for entrepreneurs. Out of over 300 applicants, the B2B agro-industrial platform Sitonos was named the winner, followed by QuickPay and Cachicamo App.
