Venezuelan university infrastructure and academic updates
Overview
Venezuelan universities have focused on infrastructure rehabilitation and technological upgrades. In Maturín, an alliance led by professor Cruz Guzmán Baeza aims to rehabilitate the Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador (UPEL) southern campus through coordination between faculty, students, and the private sector. Additionally, the Universidad del Zulia (LUZ) completed technological and structural improvements within its Faculty of Dentistry, including the restoration of the “Dra. Alexis Morón Borjas” Conference Room.
Further academic developments include the Universidad Nacional Experimental de los Llanos Centrales Rómulo Gallegos (Unerg) conducting radiology socialization workshops for approximately 250 students to demonstrate practical applications of diagnostic imaging technologies.
