Victorian Psycho film production and release

Overview

The horror film Victorian Psycho, directed by Zachary Wigon, features Maika Monroe as Winifred Notty, a governess in Victorian England. Initial reports described the project as a horror film set in Ensor House involving unexplained disappearances and suspicious behavior.

Subsequent updates identified the film as a horror-comedy based on a novel by Virginia Feito. The production, which includes Jason Isaacs, Ruth Wilson, and Thomasin McKenzie, received an R-rating for strong bloody violence and brief sexual material. Following the release of promotional material and ticket sales, the film held a premiere at the Village East Cinema in New York City ahead of its November 13, 2026, theatrical opening.
