Vietnam university enrollment season

Universities in Vietnam have begun welcoming new students for the 2026 academic year. Institutions including Dai Nam University, HUTECH, the University of Economics and Finance (UEF), and Nguyen Tat Thanh University are managing enrollment, conducting faculty meetings, and providing orientation services. Students are required to complete online enrollment confirmation via the Ministry of Education and Training portal by August 21.

As the enrollment season progresses, the focus has expanded to include financial support and security concerns. HD SAISON has introduced the ‘Giảng đường khởi nguồn tương lai’ program, offering tuition loans up to 50 million VND and student credit cards to assist with living expenses.

Concurrently, authorities and educational institutions are warning against fraud. Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade has specifically cautioned against fake admission notices, deceptive tuition fee transfer requests, and fraudulent links designed to steal personal information. Due to these risks, many parents are traveling to major cities to accompany their children during the transition.
