Overview

The Vietnam Ministry of Construction has introduced new regulatory frameworks aimed at enhancing urban management and infrastructure.

For smart cities, the Ministry aims to establish a unified architectural and data framework by 2030, with a vision for a secure, interconnected urban data ecosystem by 2035. Simultaneously, new proposals seek to transition underground space management from a project-by-project basis to a holistic approach that treats tunnels, railways, and parking lots as an integrated resource.
