This evolution is marked by established brands like Joli Poli and Lecia expanding internationally, alongside a new wave of designers such as Luu Viet Anh and Lam Lam entering the field. A significant milestone in this growth was the debut of designer Do Long’s first bridal collection, ‘The Prime’, which featured 34 designs intended to portray a “modern, free, and sensual bride.” High-profile celebrities and beauty queens, including Sam, Thuy Tien, Toc Tien, Chi Pu, Ky Duyen, and Thien An, have attended major events, generating widespread social media attention. During the second night of Vietnam Wedding Week 2026 on August 23, Do Long presented the ‘THE PRIME: ICONS’ collection. The show featured Gen Z beauty queens Yen Nhi and Luong Thuy Linh in prominent roles. Yen Nhi appeared as the ‘First Face’ in a white satin silk dress, while Luong Thuy Linh served as the ‘Vedette’ in a beaded lace mermaid dress. The selection of these models drew public interest due to recent viral instances of both women experiencing falls on catwalks, a topic they reportedly discussed backstage prior to the performance. Vietnam Wedding Week 2026 also featured the ‘The Love City’ Bridal Fashion Show in Ho Chi Minh City. This event showcased diverse interpretations of contemporary bridal fashion through presentations by Le Hoa Bridal, Lam Bridal, Minh Tuan Couture, and FALVAON by Luu Viet Anh. These designers offered contrasting aesthetics, ranging from structural and sculptural designs to intimate romance and couture glamour.
