Viettel technological achievements and awards

Overview

Viettel has received multiple international and domestic recognitions for its digital and telecommunications infrastructure. In October 2026, Viettel IDC was named the ‘Typical Digital Infrastructure Enterprise of the Year’ at the Better Choice Awards, highlighting its extensive network of fiber optic cables, 5G stations, and data centers serving millions of customers in Vietnam.

Later in the month, Viettel High Tech earned the ‘Best Technology Deployment in Asia’ award at the Telecom Review Excellence Awards in Dubai. This recognition followed the successful deployment of vOCS 4.0, a Cloud Native real-time Online Charging System. The upgrade was completed for over 100 million mobile subscribers in Vietnam and serves more than 220 million subscribers across Vietnam and 10 international markets, offering increased transaction speeds and reduced hardware costs.
