ViewSonic display technology and infrastructure expansion
Overview
ViewSonic has introduced new hardware and expanded its professional service infrastructure. The company unveiled its fourth-generation mobile Direct View LED (DVLED) display, the LDS136-152, which features a foldable design, motorized height adjustment, and Glue-on-Board (GOB) technology for enhanced durability.
In addition to hardware releases, ViewSonic opened a new Solutions Hub in Vauxhall, London, to serve as a collaborative space for industry professionals. This facility is intended to act as a template for future global locations in cities such as Istanbul, Dubai, and Prague.
Regarding future technology, the company is testing chip on glass (CoG) LED display panels with a manufacturer in China. If testing is successful, ViewSonic aims to introduce all-in-one LED displays using CoG technology by late 2028, which are expected to be thinner, lighter, and consume 20% less energy than existing models.
