Vinmec healthcare expansion in Vietnam
Overview
Vingroup is expanding its healthcare infrastructure in Vietnam through the development of Vinmec international hospitals in partnership with the Cleveland Clinic.
In Ha Long, the Vinhomes Global Gate project is integrating a 500-bed Vinmec International Hospital. The development is planned in two phases, beginning with a 100-bed Center of Excellence in Aesthetics before expanding to include cardiology and orthopedics. The partnership with Cleveland Clinic is intended to implement international clinical models, operational systems, and staff training.
Building on this healthcare strategy, Vingroup has broken ground on the Vinmec Can Gio International General Hospital within the Vinhomes Green Paradise coastal metropolis. Scheduled to open in December 2027, this 7.4-hectare facility will also feature 500 beds and aims to serve as a medical tourism destination. The hospital will seek JCI accreditation and utilize the Cleveland Clinic Connected network to manage specialties such as cardiology, oncology, and longevity medicine.
