Violent assault in Brăila County

Overview

On August 22, two youths aged 16 and 20 allegedly attacked a 25-year-old man and a 45-year-old man in the Tudor Vladimirescu locality of Brăila County using blunt objects and a sharp instrument. One victim required emergency helicopter transport via SMURD to a hospital in Bucharest due to the severity of their injuries.

Following an investigation by the Brăila Police and the Brăila Prosecutor's Office, the Brăila Court approved a 30-day preventive arrest for the two suspects on August 24.
