Vocea României television season updates

The 14th season of the talent show ‘Vocea României’ premiered on September 4, 2026, on PRO TV and VOYO. The new season introduced updated gameplay mechanics, specifically a ‘second chance button’ for coaches and a provision for presenter Pavel Bartoș to grant a single contestant per blind audition phase a second opportunity to perform.

The coaching panel for the season consists of Tudor Chirilă, Smiley, Irina Rimes, Theo Rose, and Horia Brenciu. While the show retained the ‘superblock’ and ‘mute’ buttons, the new ‘second chance’ button is limited to one use per coach. During the premiere, Tudor Chirilă offered a tribute to the technical production crew, referring to them as a ‘second family’.

During the opening episode, Irina Rimes announced that this will be her final season as a coach. She stated her decision is driven by personal reasons, specifically a desire to take a career break to focus on her health and start a family. Despite her departure, Rimes expressed her intention to be the ‘best coach possible’ during her remaining time on the program.

Notable premiere performances included sisters Cristina Boghici and Alexandra Bordei, who impressed all four coaches, and contestant Francoise Manuel, who successfully turned all four chairs within three seconds. In response to Manuel’s performance, Tudor Chirilă utilized his ‘superblock’ to prevent Rimes from selecting the contestant.
