In late July 2026, Volkswagen Group Japan introduced a limited‑edition ID. Buzz electric minivan to celebrate its first year in the Japanese market. The Grand California, based on the Crafter, received new equipment packages focused on energy self-sufficiency, including LiFePO lithium batteries and integrated solar systems providing up to 174 Wp of solar power.
