Voyah, a subsidiary of Dongfeng Motor, recently received the 10th Hubei Province Yangtze River Quality Award, following a period of financial growth marked by a 42.4% increase in total revenue and a 35.9% increase in cumulative deliveries. Building on this momentum, the company is launching its flagship Dream 9 MPV. Pre-sales for the vehicle, which is positioned in the 500,000 RMB luxury segment, officially began on September 5. In a move to reduce “unnecessary marketing hype,” Chairman Lu Fang canceled the offline pre-sales launch event to prioritize customer test drives. The Dream 9 is available in both plug-in hybrid and battery electric versions and features a 3,200 mm wheelbase and a retractable standing emblem. During its initial pre-sale phase, the Dream 9 secured 30,000 small orders within 48 hours, with prices ranging from 429,900 to 529,900 yuan. To support the vehicle, Voyah unveiled the Huju P (Premium) intelligent chassis, which utilizes aviation-grade aluminum alloy, a three-chamber independent air spring system, and 10-degree rear-wheel steering to reduce the turning radius to 5.9 meters. The chassis also incorporates dual-valve EDC electronic shock absorbers to balance agility and comfort. The vehicle is built on an 800V high-voltage platform with 5C fast charging technology and features L3-level autonomous driving architecture supported by 37 sensors, including high-precision LiDAR, Huawei Qiankun ADS 5, and HarmonySpace 6. Following the pre-sale period, Voyah officially launched the Dream 9. Alongside the launch, the company highlighted its global expansion strategy, hosting international media from Southeast Asian nations and Hong Kong in Wuhan. Voyah currently operates in 40 countries and regions, utilizing Hong Kong as a strategic hub to reach markets such as Thailand and Singapore while expanding its presence in Europe and the Middle East.
