Voyah corporate growth and Dream 9 MPV launch
Overview
Voyah, a subsidiary of Dongfeng Motor, recently received the 10th Hubei Province Yangtze River Quality Award, which Chairman Lu Fang noted recognizes the company’s product strength and quality standards. This recognition follows a period of financial growth, with the company reporting a 42.4% increase in total revenue to 18.16 billion RMB and a 35.9% increase in cumulative deliveries.
Building on this momentum, Voyah announced the upcoming release of its flagship Dream 9 MPV. The vehicle, which is expected to be priced above 500,000 RMB, will be available in both plug-in hybrid and pure electric versions and features an L3-level autonomous driving architecture.
Pre-sales for the Dream 9 are scheduled to begin on September 5. In a departure from typical industry practices, the company decided to cancel its offline pre-sales launch event. Chairman Lu Fang stated this decision was intended to reduce “unnecessary marketing hype” and allow customers to focus on hands-on experiences and test drives.
