Warner Bros. Harry Potter brand expansion

Warner Bros. is expanding its Harry Potter-themed retail and immersive experiences globally.

In London, the company announced the opening of a large flagship store on Oxford Street, scheduled for November 4. The two-story location, inspired by Diagon Alley, will feature themed spaces such as a full-sized Knight Bus and a wizarding pub.

Simultaneously, construction is progressing on a new Harry Potter-themed land at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi on Yas Island. The Miral Group has released initial details regarding this expansion, which is set to debut in 2029. This development marks the first time the franchise will appear in a theme park outside of Universal Destinations & Experiences.

The new indoor area will consist of three distinct mini-zones: Diagon Alley, Hogwarts, and the Forbidden Forest. While the indoor nature of the park means it will not feature a full-scale replica of Hogwarts Castle, conceptual art suggests environments inspired by the Great Hall, moving staircases, and the Chamber of Secrets. Each zone is expected to feature its own unique attraction.
