Wei Chuan Dragons CPBL season success
Overview
The Wei Chuan Dragons have secured the best overall season record in the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL), officially clinching a direct spot in the Taiwan Series without participating in the playoffs.
Following their championship status, the Dragons have guaranteed a five-game home-field advantage in the best-of-seven championship series. The team intends to host Games 1, 2, 5, 6, and 7 at the Taipei Dome. This venue selection is intended to accommodate higher spectator capacities of up to 40,000 fans and avoid scheduling conflicts related to renovation work at Tianmu Baseball Stadium.
