Overview

The Vietnamese version of the game show ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’ (Ai Là Triệu Phú), which debuted in January 2005, has yet to produce a contestant who successfully answers all 15 questions in official competition.

Historical records show several notable attempts to reach the final milestone. In 2008, Nguyen Le Anh reached the 15th question but chose to stop after 14 correct answers, securing 80 million VND; it was later determined his guess for the final question would have been correct. In 2021, travel blogger Tran Dang Dang Khoa reached the 15th question but answered incorrectly, winning 22 million VND. Most recently, in March 2026, Nguyen Truong Giang reached the final question and opted to stop, securing 150 million VND.
