Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi noted that this event is Ahmedabad’s fifth international sporting tournament in six months, reflecting the expansion of the state’s sports infrastructure. Sanghavi stated that Gujarat has allocated Rs 66 crore for sports in the 2026-27 financial year and is developing an advanced Para Sports Training Centre in Gandhinagar that will utilize artificial intelligence and sports science. India concluded the tournament with a significant medal ~~haul. On the final day,~~ haul, securing a total of 15 medals: four golds, three silvers, and eight bronzes.
