Wunderkammer cultural initiatives in Italy

Overview

Various cultural initiatives using the name ‘Wunderkammer’ have launched across Italy. In Cameri, the ‘WunderKammeri’ opened at the IC Tadini school as part of the ABCDono project to foster a culture of giving among primary students through a participatory learning space.

In Rome, the Casa Museo Wunderkammer has expanded its offerings, first by opening a ‘Secret Cabinet of Rare Books and Drawings’ featuring collections spanning four centuries, and subsequently by hosting guided tours accompanied by live piano and organ concerts led by composer Lo Muscio.

Additionally, the Wunderkammer cultural association announced its fourteenth season for an itinerant theater festival in Naples. The upcoming season, themed ‘SPIZZICHI & BOCCONI’, will draw inspiration from the writings of Erri De Luca to link theater with the culinary arts.
