WWE Money in the Bank event and aftermath

The WWE Money in the Bank event in New Orleans featured several championship shifts and controversial moments. In the women’s division, Tiffany Stratton won the ladder match to secure the briefcase, while Liv Morgan reclaimed the WWE Women’s World Championship from Stephanie Vaquer. Logan Paul praised the women’s roster performance on social media, stating they were ‘on some other shit.’

Stratton’s victory was marked by a frightening moment during the match when a ladder dive went wrong, causing her to strike her head heavily. Stratton later admitted she was “a little banged up” and experiencing neck pain. Other participants, including Jacy Jayne, also experienced scary falls during the match, though Jayne reported feeling “great” during a subsequent public appearance. Following the win, Stratton claimed to be the first female wrestler to win the ladder match twice, a claim publicly corrected by Carmella, who noted she had achieved the feat in 2017.

In the men’s division, Oba Femi defeated Bronson Reed despite interference from Logan Paul and his faction, The Vision. Femi issued a challenge to Roman Reigns, stating, ‘No more running, it’s about time.’

WWE has since shifted focus toward the Crown Jewel 2026 premium live event in Saudi Arabia. Announced matches for the event include a clash between Women’s Champion Chelsea Green and Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, alongside a match between Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship.
