Xiaomi has officially announced HyperOS 4, its latest operating system update, which features a significant visual redesign and enhanced artificial intelligence capabilities. The update places heavy emphasis on AI through the introduction of Super XiaoAi 2.0, powered by the company’s proprietary MiMo large language model. This assistant is designed to move beyond simple commands to perform complex tasks, such as transcribing voice, organizing notes, image searching, and managing smart home or vehicle ecosystems. A three-phase beta testing program has commenced in China, starting August 14.
